New Build

A new build house is a property that’s newly constructed and has never been lived in before. Some existing properties that have been substantially renovated, so that very little of the original house remains, are also often described as new builds. Some lenders also consider ‘new build’ to be any property that has been constructed in the last 2 years, even if there has been tenants living in the property during that time, it will still be classed as new build until someone purchases it.
